ZAMAR ACADEMY’S ANNUAL REPORT OF THE YEAR 2007-2008 

We are very glad to present the annual day report for the year 2007-2008.  By Grace of God Zamar Academy completed 4 years of service among the less privileged children drawn from the neglected part of the society.

We thank all our Board Members and Sponsors who have been a helping hand to transform these lives of less privileged by feeding, clothing and educating. 

May the God Lord Almighty Jesus bless them in all their efforts.

Children

The total no of children benefited from our project were 130 children admitted in L.Kg to 2nd Standard in which there were 6 classes.

Staffs

We have committed hard working staffs those who have a strong burden to work among these less privileged children, in which there are 8 teaching staffs and 3 non-teaching staffs.

 

School Programmes

Independence day

We celebrated Independence day on 15th August. This is the day of remembrance of the great freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives and it is the great day of deliverance from  the British rule in 1947.   

The Hon. Bishop Dr. Ezra Sargunam,. Evangelical church of India was the Chief Guest on that day. He was amazed by the performance of the children and he spoke about the condition of the people below poverty line in our country. 

 

 

 

 

Our children performed excellent programmes like many speeches about national leaders and the very important speech that our children declared that they will work for India where there is no barriers between the Government and the people.

 

Teacher’s Day

Teachers day was celebrated on 5th September2007 were the Children performed a programme in our school.  A child from 2nd standard gave a speech about Dr. Radha Krishnan. The Chief Guest was Sister. Packiathai Pitchamuthu who adapted many children and raised them as worthy citizen to the nation. She was very happy to see the seed which she had sown has become a big harvest.  She prayed that these little ones will become a great nation according to Isaiah 60:22

Children’s Day

We celebrated children’s day on 14th November . We conducted so many competitions like Elocution, Singing, Drawing and Recitation.  The topics were child labor, child rights, expectations of a child from the parents. The Guest was one of our sponsors who is sponsoring 5 kids.

Christmas day Celebration

We celebrated our Christmas day programme on 15th December 2007, were our children performed wonderful programmes like skit, songs and dances. which brought the feelings of the sacrifice of Lord Jesus.  Hon. Director of Redeen kind organization Mr. Paul Arasu was our Chief guest.  By seeing the performance of the children he addressed that the Zamar Kids are the stars.

Annual Day was celebrated on 18th April 2008.   The Chief Guest for the programme was Mr. Pothiraj., The Chief Manager of Indian Bank., Thiruvottiyur.   He was surprised by the performance of the children and blessed that Zamar Academy will become a great university in future.

 

 

Medical Check up for eyes

Eye check up was done for the children. The doctor was  surprised  to see all the children who are coming from this kind of background have healthy eyes.  Only one child had squint eyes which will be treated at free of cost.  

Project Day

We had a project day on 19th February 2008, were our children in all the classes performed many activities based on different topics . They also did so many models and worked experiments based on topics of Science.  The Inspectors were surprised by the experiments of our children, and they  declared that they haven’t seen such project in any other school. 

Feed Back of the Parents

The parents of these less privileged children were so much impressed and satisfied with he moral and the hygienic living of their children in their communities.  The Parents are very confident that the dreams they had for their children are coming true.
